Foundation
Founded in 1977 by Abdelmajid Makni, THERMIVENT is a family-owned Tunisian company specializing in the manufacture of industrial fans and burners. Based in Ben Arous, on a 5,000 m² site, it began operations in 1979. With 100% Tunisian capital, it is founded on the values of integrity, hard work and respect for customers.
First steps with burners
The adventure began in 1979 with the introduction of oil burners, followed by gas burners on the Tunisian market. Manufactured with Bentonecomponents, our range of burners is renowned for its robustness and resistance to wear. Customer satisfaction is our top priority, and we offer top-quality after-sales service thanks to a team of highly qualified technicians and the availability of spare parts.
Development of axial fans
In 1981, the first series of propeller fans were launched in partnership with the Société Française de Motos Ventilateurs FMV (now ZIEHL-ABEGG France). Over the years, the 6P series has become a mass-market item, available from the largest hardware stores in Tunisia, mainly STQ. This small fan has paved the way for the design of a whole range of propeller fans.
Launch of centrifugal fans
With the industrial growth of the 90s in Tunisia, industrial ventilation became essential to preserve health in the workplace. Centrifugal fans outperformed natural and helical ventilation to ventilate premises and integrate various processes such as heating, cooling and material transport.
The beginnings of the ASH and RSH series
10 years after its launch, THERMIVENT is experiencing significant growth. The company is expanding its range with the ASH and RSH series fans, previously known as ASZ and RSZ, in partnership with NICOTRA Italy . The robustness of this range has earned it a positive reception on the market.
Launch of turrets and caissons
Building on its initial success and technical know-how, THERMIVENT is expanding its range by diversifying into new products such as turrets centrifugal towers and ventilation ventilation boxes.
Challenge and adaptation - ISO 9001 certification
THERMIVENT faces challenges such as evolving technologies, increased competition and regulatory changes.
It adapts by investing in upgrade programs to modernize its processes. It implements a quality management system and obtains its first ISO 9001 certification.
Expansion and creation of a sales department
Consolidation and stability
THERMIVENT has reached a period of stability, maintaining its operations while seeking opportunities for growth.
It is focusing on optimizing its operations, building customer loyalty and managing its human resources.
Handover
Over time, children are gradually integrated into the family business, starting with minor responsibilities to understand the inner workings. As they gain experience and confidence, their responsibilities increase, enabling them to play a more significant role. They begin to put forward their own ideas and initiatives, bringing a modern, innovative vision to the company.
Digital transformation
THERMIVENT is undertaking a digital transformation to remain competitive in a constantly changing environment. It is investing in a new ERP system to improve its processes and interactions with customers.
