Foundation

Founded in 1977 by Abdelmajid Makni, THERMIVENT is a family-owned Tunisian company specializing in the manufacture of industrial fans and burners. Based in Ben Arous, on a 5,000 m² site, it began operations in 1979. With 100% Tunisian capital, it is founded on the values of integrity, hard work and respect for customers.

First steps with burners

L'aventure a commencé avec l'intégration des brûleurs à mazout suivis des brûleurs à gaz sur le marché tunisien. Fabriqués avec des composants Bentone, notre gamme de brûleurs est connue pour sa robustesse et sa résistance à l'usure. La satisfaction de nos clients étant notre priorité, nous proposons un service après-vente de haute qualité grâce à une équipe de techniciens hautement qualifiés et la disponibilité de nos pièces de rechange.

Development of axial fans

En 1981, les premières séries de ventilateurs hélicoïdes ont vu le jour en partenariat avec FMV devenue aujourd’hui ZIEHL-ABEGG France . La série 6P est devenue au fil des années un article de grande consommation disponible chez les plus grandes quincailleries en Tunisie principalement la STQ. Ce petit ventilateur a frayé un chemin vers la conception d'une panoplie de ventilateurs hélicoïdes.

Launch of centrifugal fans

Avec la croissance industrielle des années 90 en Tunisie, les ventilateurs centrifuges s'imposent, surpassant la ventilation naturelle et hélicoïdale, pour ventiler les locaux et intégrer divers procédés tels que chauffage, refroidissement, ou transport de matière.

Early ASH and RSH Series

10 ans après son lancement, THERMIVENT connait une croissance significative. Elle élargit sa gamme avec les ventilateurs des séries ASH et RSH précédemment appelés ASZ et RSZ en partenariat avec NICOTRA Italie . La robustesse de cette gamme lui a valu un accueil positif sur le marché.

1990 -1993Launch of turrets and boxes

Building on its initial success and technical know-how, THERMIVENT is expanding its range by diversifying into new products such as centrifugal turrets and ventilation boxes.

Challenge and adaptation - ISO 9001 certification

THERMIVENT faces challenges such as evolving technologies, increased competition and regulatory changes.
It adapts by investing in upgrade programs to modernize its processes. It implements a quality management system and obtains its first ISO 9001 certification.

Expansion and creation of a commercial division

After overcoming the previous challenges, THERMIVENT creates its first commercial division ATV Sarl primarily for the distribution of burners spare parts for BRAHMA brand, and establishes partnerships with regional distributors, mainly in Sfax, Sousse, Djerba and Nabeul.

Consolidation and stability

THERMIVENT has reached a period of stability, maintaining its operations while seeking opportunities for growth.
It is focusing on optimizing its operations, building customer loyalty and managing its human resources.

Over time, children are gradually integrated into the family business, starting with minor responsibilities to understand the inner workings. As they gain experience and confidence, their responsibilities increase, enabling them to play a more significant role.
