What is an oil burner?
An oil burner, also known as a fuel oil burner, is a device designed to burn fuel oil, often heating oil, to produce heat. These burners are commonly used in domestic and industrial heating systems, as well as in boilers and furnaces.
Oil burners are appreciated for their energy efficiency and their ability to deliver constant, controllable heat. However, they require proper oil storage and regular maintenance to ensure safe, reliable operation. What's more, as with gas burners, adequate ventilation is required to evacuate combustion products.
